Privacy Policy
Your quote request is a request to be contacted about insurance. The permission you give in the form lets Fahrenheit collect your details, contact you about your request and share the information you provide with an insurance broker so they can contact you about it.
Who we are
Fahrenheit is operated by HEY WHAT'S NEXT PTY LTD (ABN 34 693 275 786) ("we", "us" or "our"). We publish general information about business insurance for Australian businesses and take quote requests. We review requests manually.

What we collect when you request a quote
Our form asks for what your business does, your name, mobile number, email address, business postcode and permission to handle your request. You can also choose to provide your business name, who you are currently insured with, when your current policy expires, and a question or message. Please don't include sensitive personal information or documents.
We record when your request is submitted, your permission and the version of the consent wording that applies. If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, we may record its source, medium and campaign name to understand which campaigns bring requests. We do not save your full browsing history or the full page URL with your request; we record only the page path the form was on.
You can browse the website without submitting your contact details. We need the required form details and permission to accept a request through the form.
How we use your information
- To receive, store and manually review your request.
- To contact you about your request or clarify information we need.
- To share the information you supplied with an insurance broker so they can contact you about your request.
- To notify the Fahrenheit team that a new request needs attention.
- To operate and protect the website, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and meet legal obligations.
Submitting the form gives permission for those purposes. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing. We do not automatically forward form submissions to brokers; the Fahrenheit team reviews each request first.
Who receives your information
Authorised people working on Fahrenheit can access requests for the purposes above. With the permission in your form, we can pass your supplied contact details, business details and message to an insurance broker. The broker can then contact you about your request and will be responsible for their own handling of information under their privacy policy.
We use Cloudflare for website hosting, form security and database storage, and Cloudflare Email to deliver request notifications. Request notifications are received in a Google (Gmail) mailbox, and a copy of each request is recorded in a Google Sheets spreadsheet used by the Fahrenheit team to manage requests. Service providers may handle information on our behalf to deliver these functions. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Website security
Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information and security signals to deliver the website, rate-limit requests and protect the form. Request details are stored in Cloudflare D1. We use encrypted connections, access controls and security checks to help protect them. Raw IP addresses and Turnstile tokens are not saved with your request. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep information
Our request database is configured to remove records more than 180 days after submission through a daily cleanup. Cloudflare backups and recovery copies may take longer to expire.
Email notifications and the request spreadsheet are separate copies. The spreadsheet is configured to remove rows more than 180 days old, and the Fahrenheit team reviews the relevant mailbox monthly and removes notifications and correspondence older than 180 days, unless a documented legal hold requires retention. Privacy requests are handled across the database, spreadsheet and relevant email records. You can contact us to request earlier deletion.
If your details have already been shared with a broker, the broker holds their own copy. We can tell you who received your request, and you can contact that broker about their records.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use advertising pixels. The quote form does not save your contact details in your browser's storage. Cloudflare may use security-related storage to protect the website.
Overseas processing
Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored outside Australia. Cloudflare may process information in the United States and the European Economic Area, and Google may process email and spreadsheet data in the United States and other countries. Their privacy policies describe their processing locations and safeguards.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request its deletion, or withdraw your request. Emailhello@fahrenheitinsurance.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity before providing or changing information.
If you withdraw your request before your details are shared with a broker, we won't share them. Withdrawal cannot undo a disclosure that has already occurred. We can tell you which broker received your request so you can contact them about further communication and their records.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above shows the current version. If we propose a new use or disclosure that needs your consent, we'll ask for it.
